Tanka er en kunst opprinnelig fra Tibet. Det er 4 ulike maater aa male et Tanka maleri paa. Denne spesielle Tanka teknikken er konstruert av Dalai Lama.

Arne hadde noe mageproblemer underveis, og hadde egen velegnet dorull patent.

Siste camp foer Annapurna Base camp er Machhapuchre campen paa ca 3900 moh. Vi kom opp hit i bra vaer. Vi hadde mye regn paa veien opp, saa godt som hver ettermiddag regnet det kraftig. Normalt paa denne tiden av aaret er det klart og fint vaer, saa vi  vaaknet overraskende til 25 cm med nysnoe paa Machhapuchre Base camp.  Vi tok det med ro til utpaa dagen og vaeret lettet heldigvis etterhvert. Etter lunsj gikk vi de siste km opp til Annapurna Base camp.

The last lodge before ABC is Machhapuchre base camp on about 3900 msl.  Vi came up there in nice weather but woke up to 25 cm of new snow the morning after. Every day on our trak we had heavy rain in the afternoon. Normal weather on this time of the year is claer and nice weather so people were very suprised about the snow. We relaxed in the morning and after lunch the weather changed and we could walk the last kms up to our finial destination, Annapurna Base camp.

I Doban hadde vi underholdning av lokale folk som danset og sang til tradisjonell folkemusikk.  

In Doban we had entertainment of local people that played and sang traditional music from Nepal.
